Waldorf Style Stuffing

2 cups; coarsely chopped or sliced, fresh celery

1 cup; chopped, fresh onion

1 large, unpeeled apple, cored and chopped

1/2 cup; seedless raisins

1 cup; shelled walnuts

1 tablespoon; dry, white wine or lemon juice

1/2 box (6 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing

1 stick butter or margarine, melted

1/2 cup; water or chicken broth

Fresh Gourmet Crispy Onions

Additional walnuts for optional topping


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all vegetables, apple, raisins, walnuts and wine or lemon juice. Add dry, Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing and stir/fold until well blended.
  3. Add chicken broth or water to melted butter or margarine and pour over mixture and stir/fold until all ingredients are evenly moist.
  4. Transfer to a rectangular baking dish that has been prepared with cooking oil spray.
  5. If desired, top with Fresh Gourmet Crispy Onions and additional walnuts.
  6. Bake on middle rack of preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove from oven, cool slightly and serve.
