Spiced Up Cornbread Stuffing

1 box (12 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing

1 cup; green bell pepper

1 cup; yellow bell pepper

1 cup; red bell pepper

1 cup; chopped onion

1 cup; chopped celery

1 4 oz; can diced green chilies

2 tablespoons; Chef Paul Prudhomme's Poultry Magic®

1 cup; chicken broth or stock

1 cup; melted butter or margarine


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine peppers, onion, garlic, and celery.
  3. Briefly sauté the vegetables in the melted butter until transparent. Add chili peppers and cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Remove from heat. Take two packages of Mrs. Cubbison's Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing mix, put in a large mixing bowl, and combine with the vegetables. Add Poultry Magic.
  5. Let dressing cool before placing in turkey, or for a casserole put in a greased casserole dish and bake on middle rack of preheated 350º F oven for 30 to 45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
