Light Oven-Baked Stuffing

1/2 box (6 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing or Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing

3/4 cup; chopped celery

1/2 cup; chopped onion

1/4 cup; melted butter or margarine

3/4 cup; broth, fruit juice, or water


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish, and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix with the celery, onion, and butter or margarine. Gradually stir in the broth, fruit juice, or water until well mixed.
  3. Transfer the stuffing to the prepared casserole dish and cover. Bake on middle rack of preheated 350°F oven for 20 to 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. If a crisp top is desired, uncover the dish and bake for 10 additional minutes.
