Zesty Turkey and Grapefruit Stuffing

1 box (12 oz.) of Mrs. Cubbison's Traditional Seasoned Stuffing or Seasoned Corn Bread Stuffing

1 cup; melted butter or margarine

1 cup; cubed cooked turkey breast

1/2 cup; chopped pitted prunes

1/2 cup; chopped walnuts or pecans

1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced

2 tablespoons; grated grapefruit zest


  • Preheat the oven to 325° F. Lightly grease a 2 1/2- to 3-quart casserole dish and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the suffering mix with the melted butter or margarine. Add all of the remaining ingredients, stirring lightly to combine.
  • Transfer the stuffing to the prepared casserole dish and cover. Bake on middle rack of preheated 325°F oven for 30 to 40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • If a crisp top is desired, uncover the dish and bake for 10 additional minutes.
